I’m 42. Three daughters. A full-time career in healthcare strategy. And a body that started making executive decisions without me.
The weights were getting lifted. The protein was getting eaten. Somehow, I was still puffy, exhausted, and inspecting photos like I was investigating a missing person. Where the hell was I?
I stopped making “be more disciplined” the answer to every damn question. I worked with my providers and looked at hormones, sleep, and metabolic health alongside my training and nutrition. Twenty-three pounds and eleven inches later, I’m sharing the whole story. Less puff. More me.

MORE THAN A BEFORE & AFTER
I didn’t need another “just try harder.”
Nothing makes you question yourself quite like doing the work and feeling worse in your own clothes. I didn’t suddenly discover protein or pick up a dumbbell. I was already there. HRT became part of my care, and I added GLP-1/GIP therapy on April 11, 2026. The lifting, protein, and work on sleep stayed.
The before-and-after gets the attention. What I noticed day to day was quieter food noise, better sleep, and finally feeling more like myself. Several things changed in my routine, so I can’t pin all of that on one treatment. Same woman. Different strategy.
“I train to be a problem, not a patient”— Ashley
My experience is personal. It isn’t a promise of what someone else will experience.
MY PROGRESS, BEYOND THE SCALE
The scale got attention. I tracked more.
My journey started April 11, 2026. These are milestones I’ve shared along the way through September 2026.
Weight lost
23 lbs
Inches lost
11 inches
Body fat
31% → ~25%
Visceral fat score
10 → 4
Lowest reported score, August 2026.
Resting heart rate
110 → 64 bpm
Metabolic age
48 → 38
Reported by September 7, 2026.
And through it all? Lean mass maintained.
About these numbers
My self-reported milestones were recorded at different times and aren’t a current medical assessment. Body composition and metabolic age are device estimates. These results reflect my overall journey, including training, nutrition, sleep, and care from my providers—not the effect of any one treatment. Individual results vary.

THE HOT GIRL HEALTH MENU
Okay, what was she taking?
The “drop the routine” section. What I’ve used, what I noticed, and what I’m exploring. Start with the option you’re curious about; the details are there for your next conversation with a provider.
01FULL THERAPY
My weight loss chapter
I didn’t retire the dumbbells. I added medical support.
A compounded GLP-1/GIP injection with glycine, an amino acid. GLP-1/GIP therapy acts on hormone receptors involved in appetite, fullness, and blood sugar regulation. This was part of my routine alongside lifting, nutrition, and provider care.
A lower-dose GLP-1/GIP option with glycine. “Microdose” describes the dosing approach, not a different peptide. I explored it for maintenance after reaching my goal; dosing and suitability are individual, and longevity benefits are not established.
Some mornings, everyone needed something before I’d finished one thought.
Selank is a synthetic neuropeptide delivered as a nasal spray. It is being studied for its effects on stress-response signaling and cognitive function. Human evidence is limited; it is not an FDA-approved anxiety treatment.
My experience: I noticed calmer mornings and felt less overstimulated after starting Selank. That is my personal experience, not a promise of how it will feel for you.
Four ingredients: BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and GHK-Cu. Research explores tissue repair with BPC-157 and TB-500, inflammatory signaling with KPV, and skin and collagen pathways with the copper peptide GHK-Cu. Much of that evidence comes from lab and animal studies.
My scale wasn’t telling me everything I wanted to know.
Tesamorelin stimulates the body’s growth-hormone release; KPV is a three-amino-acid peptide studied for inflammatory signaling. This is the combination I explored during my visceral-fat journey. The compounded blend is not FDA-approved, and results from tesamorelin studies do not establish the blend’s benefits.
Why I explored it: I wanted to understand the changes in my visceral-fat score alongside the rest of my routine. I tracked my progress, and my score later increased after I stopped tesamorelin.
My skincare shelf did not need another side quest.
A prescription topical serum combining GHK-Cu, a copper peptide, with tretinoin, NAD+, and spilanthol. The formula also includes niacinamide, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. Explore the full ingredient list and talk with a provider about whether it fits your skincare routine.
This is my personal experience, not a dosing recommendation. A licensed clinician determines whether an option is appropriate for you. Review current eligibility, risks, and pricing with EllieMD. These are affiliate links; I may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Individual results vary.

THE THINGS YOU’RE WONDERING
Okay, but what about…
Interested, but where do I actually start?
Start with the free profile through my link. Explore the available programs, review the current prices and terms, and follow the intake steps if you want to pursue care. Creating a profile is a starting point; a licensed clinician decides whether a prescription is appropriate.
It’s a broad term, not the name of one medication. Ask the prescribing clinician which medication is being offered, whether it is FDA-approved or compounded, and what its benefits, risks, and alternatives are.
Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.
My routine is a conversation starter, not your prescription. Your health history and medications matter. Tell your clinician if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, too. They’ll help you decide what’s appropriate for you.
Okay, but how long does it take?
I’d love to hand you a date. Bodies don’t work that way. My timeline belongs to my starting point, care, and daily habits. Ask your clinician what progress could look like for you and when to check in.
Can you help with medical or dosing questions?
I share my personal experience as a Brand Partner. I don’t prescribe or choose doses. Questions about side effects, medication changes, or dosing should go directly to your prescribing clinician or pharmacist.
What would I actually do as a Brand Partner?
You talk to people, share your link, and follow up. That can happen through content or real-life conversations. Commissions come from qualifying purchases—not simply signing someone up. I don’t carry inventory, ship orders, or handle medical care. It takes consistent effort; income isn’t guaranteed. Review the current fees, compensation plan, and requirements before enrolling.
You’ve typed “hey girl” and deleted it three times. Send it. Ask about my routine, how to get started, or what the business actually involves. Your message comes to me, and I’ll reply by email.
